Tim Bennett
Tim Bennett is an accomplished cyclist who has been competing in cycling for over 15 years.
During this time Tim has raced at an elite level across Australia and throughout the world, producing some exceptional results. Some international accolades to Tim’s name include Norba, World cup and three World Championship races.
After an illness struck Tim in 2000 he decided to have a break, making a comeback to the sport in 2002, winning the Western Australian State Mountain Bike Championships and capping off the season with WA State series winner to his name. In 2004, Tim had an exciting year placing eighth at the National Championships in Eildon, second place at the Karapoti Classic in New Zealand and winning the Flight Centre Cycle Epic in record breaking time.
Tim has most recently retired from racing. After 18 years racing at the Elite level he has decided to finish up riding with a number plate on! He still enjoys riding and has his new steed – IBIS mojo SL – a little more travel and alot of fun!
